Colorful Creations

Learn about the artist Jacob Lawerence and gain inspiration from his use of color. Together we will learn about color and create our very own colorful creations.

Introduce your family to a variety of cultures and artistic traditions during a Virtual Family Fun Workshop. This art experience is designed to engage you and your child in an hour of learning and creating together.

Every workshop will include looking closely at an artwork, storytime, interactive activities, and art making. We will mail you an artmaking kit with all the materials you’ll need to create your masterpiece the week of the workshop.

Workshops are designed for specific age groups to provide an experience tailored to the needs of Tiny Tots (ages 3–5 yrs) and Young Artists (ages 6–8 yrs).

Cost for workshop and art supplies is $20 per child, $15 per child for members.
